Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction
This policy sets out the terms under which students, parents/guardians, or customers (“you”, “your”) may cancel bookings or request refunds for services provided by StudyVista Education Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).
This policy applies to:

1-to-1 tuition sessions

Group tuition sessions
-
Exam packages and downloadable content
-
Summer programmes and online courses
-
Any other services provided by StudyVista Education Limited
By making a booking or purchase, you agree to be bound by this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made through our website or an approved platform authorised by StudyVista Education Limited.

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prices displayed on our website or quoted directly to you include all applicable taxes.

Bookings made within 7 days of the service date may incur an Express Booking Fee, which will be clearly communicated prior to payment.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings where payment has not been received, or where false or misleading information has been provided.
Cancellations by Students or Parents/Guardians
A. 1-to-1 and Group Lessons

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Where appropriate, we may offer a rescheduling option, subject to tutor availability and at our discretion.
B. Exam Packages and Downloadable Content

Refunds are not available once digital content has been accessed, downloaded, or viewed, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

If you experience a technical issue preventing access, please contact us promptly at support@studyvista.co.uk. We will investigate and provide assistance or replacement access where appropriate.
C. Summer Programmes and Online Courses

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the programme start date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date may be eligible for a partial refund or credit, at our sole discretion, based on incurred costs (e.g. tutor scheduling, material preparation, or platform fees).

Once a programme has commenced, no refunds will be issued.
Cancellations by StudyVista Education Limited
In rare cases (e.g. tutor illness, technical fault, low enrolment numbers), we may cancel or reschedule a session.
In such cases, customers will be offered:

A full refund, or
-
A rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time.
We are not liable for any indirect losses or additional costs (such as travel expenses) resulting from cancellations or rescheduling.
Refund Process

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 14 working days of confirmation.

We reserve the right to deduct processing or transaction fees where applicable.

Refunds will not be provided for missed sessions without prior notice, or for circumstances falling outside this policy.

We may, at our discretion, issue a credit note in place of a refund, redeemable against future bookings within 6 months.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations may arise (e.g. illness, family emergency, technical failure). In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible at +44 (0)330 133 1695 or info@studyvista.co.uk.
Requests will be reviewed case-by-case, and we may offer rescheduling or partial credit at our discretion.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
All complaints regarding cancellations or refunds must be submitted in accordance with our Complaints & Disputes Policy.
We aim to review and resolve complaints promptly, fairly, and transparently.
If a resolution cannot be reached internally, customers may be entitled to pursue further action through the UK Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process or Small Claims Court, as applicable.
Policy Updates
StudyVista Education Limited reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Any amendments will be posted on our website and will take immediate effect upon publication.
